A vintage c1970’s ceramic Mid Century wall hanging complete with rare signed “Chalvignac” ceramic plaque. The iconic Quebec Artist Maurice Chalvignac is well recognized for his MID CENTURY CERAMIC GLAZE POTTERY hand made from the 1960’s to late 1970’s. The teak veneer plaque measures 14 inches by 48 inches.The pattern number is hand written on the back of the board. The ceramic bird motif is in vibrant vintage 70’s colours and in perfect condition. Only 1 very minor flaw to this gorgeous 40 year + art piece. There is a minor touch up needed to the wood corner adjacent to the Chalvignac ceramic plaque. I have displayed it ‘as is’, it is not very noticeable and I want to keep the piece original. A very rare find priced to sell, asking $145.00 .
